Version 0.6.5
stable
Safer AI-assisted sample editing, draft-aware template autocomplete, sticky syntax lint, and new-topic badge clearing moved into the topic context menu.
What changed
- The 'Mark all topics as seen' action moved out of the Saved filters dropdown and into the topic right-click context menu.
- Right-clicking a topic that still has a 'new' badge offers 'Mark topic as seen' to clear just that topic's badge, and 'Mark all topics as seen' to clear every new badge on the active connection tab.
- Both mark-as-seen options appear only while the right-clicked topic is still marked new; once seen, the menu no longer shows them.
- Sample editor AI Assist no longer silently overwrites content: when generated sample data would replace Message, Key, Headers, or Session Vars that already have content, an options modal asks how each part should be applied.
- The apply options modal offers Replace, Add, or Keep per area — Add appends generated text after the current Key/Message content and merges generated Header/Session Var rows into the existing ones without duplicating keys.
- Generated content that targets empty areas still applies automatically; discarding the modal leaves the draft untouched.
- Syntax lint choices (NONE / JSON / XML) now stay put while you work in the Sample editor: AI-applied content and starter template inserts no longer auto-switch a lint mode you picked or that was saved with the sample.
- The @@ template autocomplete in the Sample editor is now data-driven: @@s. lists your session vars, @@h. your header names, @@k. field paths from the key JSON, and @@m. field paths from the message JSON.
- Key and message path suggestions come from the last valid JSON in the editor, so autocomplete keeps working while an edit leaves the JSON momentarily invalid; suggestions reset when you switch samples.
- Help: The topic list context menu, topic filter, and sample template entries document the moved mark-as-seen actions and the draft-aware autocomplete.
